Annual General Meeting and Frozen Nose and Toes
March 1st, 2015

Hello fellow runners!

This past weekend our club held it's annual general meeting and the Frozen Nose and Toes fun run at the New Maryland Recreation Centre.

Although it was a bit chilly to start, the sun added some much needed warmth to our runners bodies and around 15 members completed the run!

Afterwards our members enjoyed a hot meal of chili (two types), eggs, ham, rolls and fruit plus juice, tea and coffee. We enjoyed a talk presented by Tracy Underhill on nutrition and things to avoid and to load up on, it was a very informative talk, thank you Tracy!

Then we came to our annual general meeting; we had two main constitutional issues to present. The first involved the adding of the capability of the executive to nominate and bestow a life-long membership to a deserving club member, the second was the moving of the AGM from the spring to the fall to better match our financial year. Both motions were passed!

Each member presented a summary of their year in the club, our finances our good, our involvement in community events is on the upswing and our goal to improve the worth of our memberhsips is ongoing.

We hope that you will be able to attend our AGM in the fall!

Thank you to all of our members who came out!
